Alhaji Buhari Adeniyi has been appointed as the new Onijagbo of Ijagbo in the state’s Oyun Local Government Area by Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
According to a statement released on Friday by the commissioner for local government, chieftaincy affairs, and community development, Hon. Lafia Aliyu Kora-Sabi, the pronouncement was made after the laborious procedures outlined by the legislation.

“His Excellency congratulates the new Onijagbo of Ijagbo on his ascension to the throne of his forebears,” the statement read.
“His Excellency prays that the reign of His Royal Highness will usher in more progress, peace, and development in his domain in particular and the State at large.”
