Saraki Doles out Ramadan Welfare Packages to clerics in Kwara

Dr. Bukola Saraki, a former president of the Senate, has started giving food to Imams and Islamic scholars in Kwara as part of a welfare package during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to his Press Officer on Home Issues, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, notable Islamic scholars and imams in Kwara state are among the recipients of the annual distribution exercise.

According to information obtained by News Diary NG, during the distribution process, Saraki urged all Muslims to make the most of the Holy Month by partaking in rituals that will strengthen and purify their spiritual lives so they can become closer to Allah.

He also expressed gratitude to the religious leaders for their teachings and counsel, especially for their prayers to Allah on behalf of the country’s wise leadership and a better society.

More prayers should be offered, the Waziri Ngeri of the Ilorin Emirate suggested, for the people of the country to live in peace and harmony. He also appreciated the guidance and support of the religious leaders.

He commanded them to continue delivering the crucial counsel and prayers as the nation strives to achieve progress, unification, and prosperity.
