PDP Guber candidate mourns passing of Assembly Leader

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Kwara State, Alh. Shuaibu Abdullahi Yaman has commiserated with the family of the Majority Leader of the State’s House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Mogaji Olawoyin, over the sudden death of the legislator.

In a press release issued on Monday by his special adviser on media and strategy, Abdulwahab Oba, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, who also commiserated with the leadership and members of the Kwara State House of Assembly, said the passing away of Hon. Magaji at this critical period of the country’s democratic transition is sad and devastating.

Alh. Yaman said, “though no man shall spend a moment after his appointed time, the demise of Hon. Mogaji is shocking at a time he is still active in the service of the state”.

While joining other well-meaning Kwarans to mourn the untimely passing away of Hon. Magaji, Yaman specifically commiserated with Maimartaba Ilory, Alh (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Salihu Danladi and other members of the Kwara State House of Assembly on the death of the law-maker.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Hon. Mogaji a peaceful rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
