Rasaq Aladie’s death tragic, painful; says Saraki

Former President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has mourned the death of Alhaji Abdulrasaq Aladie, describing it as tragic and painful.

In a condolence message signed by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Saraki said Aladie’s demise was a huge loss to his community and the Kwara PDP family.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic and painful demise of Alhaji Abdulrasaq Aladie. He will be particularly remembered for his passion and commitment to the welfare of the people particularly women and the aged.

“At this moment of grief, our prayers and thoughts are with his wife, children and the entire Aladie family. May Allah give you all the strength to bear this huge loss. I pray Allah to overlook the shortcomings of Alhaji Abdulrasaq Aladie and grant him Aljanah Firdaus,” Saraki prayed.

Until his death, Aladie was a grassroots mobiliser and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State.
