The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senatorial Candidate in Kwara South, Senator Rafiu, has congratulated Christian faithful for the celebration of this year’s Christmas festival.
The former Senate Committee Chairman on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, Senator Rafiu, in his goodwill message to Christians encouraged them to keep the hope alive that in spite of everything going on in the country, there will be merriment again in 2023.
He therefore charged Christians to emulate the spirit of love for humanity, service and sacrifice that characterize the life of Jesus Christ whose birth we are all celebrating today and urged them to pray for the peace, progress and development of Nigeria.
The PDP Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South, Senator Rafiu, has felicitated with christians in Kwara South and imbibed the spirit of the season through the distribution of cash gifts and welfare packages to the elderly, youths, widows, orphans and religious leaders in Kwara South.
Sequel to the hosting of the 9th edition of his annual Get Together for the Christian community in Kwara South through the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Tuesday 20th of December, 2022, Senator Rafiu has taken it further by giving out cash gifts and welfare packages to Christians in all seven local government areas of Kwara South.
This gesture which has become an annual tradition of the Senator is to enable beneficiaries have a joyful Christmas celebration in spite of the economic situation of the country.
