***Receives Decampees from APC
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, senatorial candidate for Kwara South, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, attended the Irepodun LGA PDP rotational meeting on Wednesday at Arandun Ward.
The Bobaselu of Erin-Ile, Senator Rafiu, along other Party leaders received decampees from the ruling All Progressive Party, APC at Arandun into the PDP. The decampees recounted how they were deceived by the lies and propaganda of the APC in 2019 and have come to realize that APC has nothing to offer the people of Kwara South. They therefore sought for the forgiveness of Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim and other PDP leaders at the event who warmly welcomed them into the PDP.
In his address, Senator Rafiu, thanked all party members present at the meeting for their commitment to the party while charging them to continue intensifying their effort in spreading the recovery agenda of the PDP and all its candidates to the nooks and crannies of Kwara South.
Also present at the meeting were the deputy governorship candidate of the PDP, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola, Kwara South Senatorial Chairman, Chief Comrade Bisi Fakayode and a host of other party leaders.
