***Bestow Blessings on Senator Rafiu, PDP candidates
The PDP Senatorial candidate for Kwara South, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim on Thursday received spiritual blessings from the Council of Imams across 4 local government areas in Kwara South.
The Bobaselu of Erin-Ile, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, having inaugurated his 134-man campaign team on Wednesday, 21st of December, 2022 decided to kickstart his campaigns by first seeking divine guidance through the Council of Imams across the local government areas in Kwara South.
The former chairman Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions kicked off his engagements with Ifelodun council of Imams at Idofian Central Mosque where the Imams took turns to commend the senator for his contributions to the development of Kwara South and the Islamic body. They therefore sought the favour of Allah for the senator on his candidacy.
The senator then proceeded to Osi, Ekiti LGA where he met with the Council of Imams and Hulamah where they eulogized the senator for his listening ears and always rising to the occasion when he is called upon. They also made intercession on behalf of the senator by praying for Allah to grant him victory in 2023.
Moving on from Ekiti LGA, Senator Rafiu met with the council of Imams for Oke-Ero local government who gladly offered prayers to the senator mentioning that they have been beneficiaries of several interventions from Senator Rafiu to not only the Islamic body but also their respective communities.
Rounding up his engagements, Senator Rafiu met with the council of Imams at Isin LGA where several testimonies were shared by not only the Imams but also individuals and community groups who came out having heard that the senator was in their community. The Imams prayed for the mercy of Allah to speak for Kwarans by putting an end to the hardship the people have experienced under APC by returning a representative like senator Rafiu Ibrahim and other PDP candidates who have good hearts for the people.
