… organises Youth Summit, Empowerment to celebrate Saraki at 60
In commemoration of the 60th birthday celebration of the President of the 8th Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Abral Development Initiative organised a youth summit and empowerment program for Kwara Youths.
The programme which was held on Sunday, 18th December, 2022 with the theme “Learning from the past, Laying Foundation for the Future” had about 500 Youths in attendance.
While delivering his Keynote Address, the Kwara South senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim charged youths “to lay a solid foundation today in other to attain greater heights tomorrow.”
He also urged the youths to learn from the pool of knowledge and experiences leaders like Saraki, who he said, made unprecedented strides and achievements in the various political positions he had occupied.
The convener of the event, Opeyemi Alao, in his remark, appreciated all invited guests, panelists, and attendees just as he expressed hope that the programme would have a long fruitful impact in the lives of Kwara youth.
Some of the dignitaries who graced the occasion included the Kwara PDP deputy governornishp candidate, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola and Engineer Dare Bankole, Kwara PDP Federal House of Representative candidate for Irepodun, Ekiti, Oke-Ero and Isin Federal Constituency.
