*** Senator Rafiu felicitates with families of Alhaji Abubakar, Nurudeen Opoola
Yesterday was an eventful day for the PDP senatorial candidate for Kwara South, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim as he was endorsed for reelection by Olaitan club in Ojoku at the early hours of Friday at a meeting attended by the senator and stakeholders of the group.
The stakeholders led by Alhaji Waheed Ajani all commended the senator for his contributions towards the development of Kwara South and gave him the utmost assurance of their support towards his reelection bid.
The former chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions proceeded to the residence of his friend Alhaji Chief Abubakar Jimoh and his wife Chief Mrs Folashade Jimoh; Aare Ataiyese and Yeye Aare Ataiyese of Ojoku Kingdom to felicitate with them on the occasion of their 27th year wedding anniversary. Alhaji Abubakar Jimoh is the GMD of Trustbanc Financial Services Group.
The anniversary gathering was attended by the Olojoku of Ojoku, Asiwaju of Ojoku, members of Ojoku Premiers club led by the chairman, Alhaji Hassan Sodiq, veteran Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo among others.
The Bobaselu of Erin-Ile, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim in the company of Hon. Wara Sulaiman proceeded to the home of the state secretary of NURTW, Mr Nurudeen Opoola (AKA Owen) to felicitate with his family at the naming ceremony of their child.
