The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, as he marks the 27th anniversary of his coronation today, 11th of November, 2022.
In a statement personally signed, Senator Rafiu described the monarch as a father to all whose leadership qualities has significantly contributed to the development, peace and stability of Ilorin.
The statement reads in part: “I heartily join my leader and Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki CON, and other sons and daughters of Ilorin, to felicitate with His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR on the occasion of his 27th coronation anniversary.
“The Emir of Ilorin is a father to all of us in Kwara State, and we give thanks to Almighty Allah for his continued sustenance on the throne. Since he ascended the throne, Baba has demonstrated high level of wisdom and understanding of the people which has significantly contributed to the development, peace and stability of Ilorin during his reign.
“It is my prayer to Almighty Allah to grant our father, the Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, more peaceful and prosperous years on the throne in good health and sound mind, Ameen.”
