… Founder receives royal blessing from Elerin
The Founder/CEO Ojomu Foundation, Hon Babatunde Abdullateef, has held a free Medical Outreach at Ojoku, Ijagbo, Ilemona and Erin-ile towns in Oyun local government area of Kwara State.
The health initiative for both urban and rural dwellers, involved sensitization on disease prevention, distribution of free eye glasses, diagnosis and treatment of ailments.
The medical outreach, which was flagged off in conjunction with Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party, at Share, the headquarters of Ifelodun local government area of the state, on 30th June, 2021, is being aimed at supplementing the inadequate medical care services offered to the rural communities by the government.
While holding the the health Programme at the Palace of Elerin of Erin-ile, the founder encouraged the host community to always take care of their health as productivity can only be achieved by a healthy person, stressing that a clean environment drives away sicknesses and diseases.
According to him, diseases cohabit with dirty surroundings; therefore it is important that the host community make themselves available for the free medical services so as to benefit from the opportunity presented by the foundation.
After the medical diagnosis undertaken and reception of the optical glasses by the Elerin of Erin-ile, the first class monarch prayed the Almighty showers His blessing on the foundation and future endeavors of the founder.
