Kwara PDP commiserates with Ilorin Chief Imam over wife’s death

The Kwara State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has commiserated with the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Mohammadu Bashir Soliu (OON), on the passing of his wife, Hajia Hafsat Bashir Imam, who died Friday morning.

In a statement by its State Chairman, Hon. Kola Shittu, the party said it received news of Hajia Hafsat’s death with great shock and prayed Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanat Firdaus.

“The Kwara PDP sends heartfelt condolences to the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Mohammadu Bashir Soliu, OON, and his family, on the transition of his dear wife, Hajia Hafsat. We received the news of her death with great shock and sadness.

“Hajia Hafsat was a responsible wife, caring mother and kindhearted woman. Her motherly love and kindness will be greatly missed by her family and all those who know her. We pray Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanat Firdaus.

“We also pray Allah to comfort the Chief Imam and members of his family and grant them the strength to bear this huge loss.”
