The Honorable Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Kwara State, Mrs Joana Nnazua Kolo has taken delight with the Muslim Ummah on the monumental occasion of of the 1441AH EID-L-FITR celebration.
The Honourable enjoined all Muslims across the nooks and crannies of the state, national and the global community to welcome integrity, love and affection with others as part of the lessons and teachings of the Ramadan fasting.
In her Eid Message made public through her Media Assistance, the honourable posited, “The month of Ramadan has brought more compassion and spirituality to mankind, the Muslim Ummah in the sacred month were more in spiritual cleansing and embraced peaceful coexistence with others.”
Mrs Kolo noted that, “I extend warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens, particularly to my Muslim brothers and sisters in the state and abroad, as we celebrate this day which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I hope that the festival with its tradition of giving and sharing enriches our lives with a spirit of brotherhood and empathy for the deprived.”
She prayed unto Almighty God to heal the world from the Coronavirus Pandemic, “May this Ramadan inspires us with courage and strength that will help us to win every challenge of life!”
She further said, “May Eid-ul-fitr reinforce the state’s commitment to mutual harmony and radiate the message of Kwara’s composite culture to the nation and whole world.”
She concluded by praying for the success of the administration of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq towards driving the state to a greater heights.
