For some reasons and propaganda, we were made to believe the problems of Kwara State began and ended With Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s leadership in the state.
Now we are stuck with Otoge’s government, few days to a year in office, one will expect Kwara state to look like small London as promised during campaigns and series of media blackmails but to my surprise, no one is asking about the performance under this administration, after all they promised miracles.
Saraki has been vindicated by the present administration that governance is not a tea party but a serious business built on vast administrative and leadership skills. The erroneous belief and narratives that governance and effective administration lies with them is so annoying. I will leave that for another day.
The annoying part some folks out of political correctness and being members of APC within and betrayals within the ranks of PDP waiting for crumbs are either mute today like “Dundee United” and burying their heads in the sand like Ostrich pretending they cannot see what is playing out, some are justifying stupidly or shifting blame as usual.(” O wa lara yin, adie to su ti ko to ni”).
The law of retributive justice (Karma) is there to judge actions and inactions of everyone and I pray anyone who is involved or supported the blackmails and propaganda against Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, consciously or unconsciously will receive full comeuppance of their deeds in this life and thereafter.
Good enough the rejected stone is now the cornerstone and the proud with haughty hearts are now being humbled and thoroughly demystified. They will now know what it means why old women in Ilorin refers to Former Senate President as “Bukola Omo Adura” (Bukola child of prayer)
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) paraded and nominated the most formidable candidate during the last gubernatorial election. Rt Hon Razak Atunwa ran #KwaraFirst campaign that was focused on human capacity development for everyday Kwarans, local content development to drive inclusive growth, and massive investment on health and education infrastructure. Fate played its role as all elections were lost due to hatred, blackmails and propaganda theories against the dynasty! Atunwa was never a wrong choice. Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and his likes would have suffered the same fate if not worse.
